Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented general labor helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including industrial, commercial, and food production settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. This is a temporary position for 12 weeks, that may become a long term position.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and free of debris.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in manufacturing and food processing facilities while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness commercial spaces through effective custodial practices.
- The Industrial Cleaner will be working indoors and outdoors completing assignments at a manufacturing facility / environment. Responsibilities include utilizing 50 to 100 ft. firehouse with about 300PSI to clean facilities 3-4 hours per day.
- Responsibilities include transporting materials with or without the use of a forklift.
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and sanitation procedures is a plus.
- Experience in food production or processing environments is highly desirable.
- Background in warehouse operations or commercial cleaning will be beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently is essential.
Minimum Requirements: Must have the ability to lift and maintain control of 85 to 100 pounds per sq. inch from pressurized fire hose for extended periods of times.
- Must be able to work in extreme working conditions.
- MUST be OSHA 10 certified
