Our client, a leading consumer products manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong control engineering background to join their 800+ person facility in Anderson, SC. This role will lead complex control system projects, collaborate with customers to resolve equipment issues, and coach, mentor, and supervise Technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex control system projects from concept through implementation.
• Program and optimize PLCs and HMIs for high-speed manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Coach, mentor, and supervise Technicians to ensure high performance and technical growth.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Support medium voltage and power generation systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and AC/DC drives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across electrical and controls systems.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to support plant operations and technical upgrades.

Qualifications:

• Strong PLC and HMI programming skills.
• Medium voltage and power generation experience.
• DCS and/or robotics experience a plus (not required)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or related field.
• Proven project management and leadership capabilities.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and AC/DC drive systems.
• Automotive and aerospace backgrounds will not be considered.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial controls, ideally in consumer products or high-speed manufacturing.
