Job DescriptionMetals Quality Inspector - 3-6 Month ContractJob Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented inspector to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will utilize micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to ensure quality control and assurance. You will be responsible for reading blueprints and drawings to perform visual inspections and documentation, as well as using computer skills to complete necessary documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize micrometers, calipers, and tape measures for quality inspections.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for visual inspections.
  • Perform documentation of inspection results using computer skills.
  • Ensure quality control and assurance within the manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
  • Strong computer skills for documentation purposes.
  • Experience in quality control and quality assurance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Any education and/or certificates related to the manufacturing industry are a bonus.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing setting, requiring the use of steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and a hard hat. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, with shifts from 6am to 4:30pm or 7am to 5:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
