Location: Birmingham, AL (just south)

Pay: 37.00/40.00 hourly plus OT, 90 to 100k+ potential

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of all equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility.


Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for repairs, maintenance, and inspections on a variety of manufacturing equipment. This position requires strong technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. The ideal candidate will prioritize equipment uptime, maintain safety standards, and contribute to the company’s lean initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Equipment Maintenance: Oversee troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on all production equipment, including CNC machines, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

· PLC Troubleshooting & Programming: Design and troubleshoot PLC program logic for machine control functions to ensure efficient operation.

· Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to identify equipment failures and prioritize repairs to minimize downtime.

· Lean & Safety Initiatives: Support Lean initiatives (5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and ensure adherence to safety regulations across the facility.

· Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades to optimize production efficiency.

· Communication & Coordination: Maintain clear communication with all departments to ensure alignment with production schedules and goals.


Minimum Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; AS degree or advanced technical certifications preferred.

· Proven experience in a maintenance role with supervisory responsibilities.

· Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

· Expertise in:

o Electrical & electronic systems

o PLC programming and troubleshooting

o CNC machine repair

o Hydraulic & pneumatic systems

o Mechanical repair and millwright tasks

· Welding and test equipment experience is a plus.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently.

· Goal-oriented, team player with effective communication skills.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

· Experience with Advanced Maintenance Management Systems (AMMS) is preferred.
