Position Summary
The Driver Licensing (DL) Service Center Support Assistant plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations by assisting staff in managing customer flow and maintaining an efficient service environment. This position supports full-time Customer Service Representatives during peak periods or staffing shortages, helping deliver timely, courteous, and organized service to all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and guide customers upon arrival to ensure a positive first point of contact.
- Monitor customer traffic and direct individuals to the appropriate service areas.
- Maintain organization within waiting areas and ensure a clean, orderly environment.
- Communicate estimated wait times and provide general information to customers.
- Support Customer Service Representatives by managing front-end logistics while applications and transactions are being processed.
- Notify management of any operational concerns, service delays, or customer issues.
- Contribute to a smooth, efficient, and customer-friendly experience.
