Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts with variable start times (7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM)
\n• Rotating weekends with every other weekend coverage required
\n• Overtime support as needed
\n• 40 hours of orientation required
\n• California RN licensure required
\n• BLS (AHA) certification required
\n• CNOR certification preferred
\n• 2 years of OR experience required
\n• 1 year experience in Cardiac required, plus experience in Hepatobiliary, Robotic, Spine, and Ophthalmology services
\n• Scrub and circulate experience required
\n• Epic charting system experience preferred
\n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
\n• All certifications must be AHA and in hand at time of submittal
\n• Patient ratio of 1:1
\n• Handle approximately 25 visits per day across 12 operating rooms
\n• Work with patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Operate specialized equipment including Da Vinci robotic systems, Ion, Globus, cataract machines, vitrectomy machines, and Brainlab
\n• May float to other CPMC locations if census is low on home unit
\n• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average) through e-learning system
\n• Only one holiday will be approved for time off
\n• Must meet 50 miles travel requirement

The facility specializes in a wide range of surgical procedures including cardiac, hepatobiliary, ophthalmology, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic spine, neurosurgery, robotic surgery, ENT, oral surgery, and pediatric procedures. The organization is equipped with advanced surgical technology including multiple Da Vinci robotic surgical systems and other specialized equipment to support complex surgical interventions across all age groups.
