Senior Electrical Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high voltage systems, electrical design, and variable frequency drives (VFDs). This role involves leading projects, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for high voltage applications.
- Lead electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Perform detailed electrical design calculations and simulations to support project requirements.
- Develop and review technical specifications for electrical equipment and systems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff in electrical engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical systems and equipment issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on high voltage systems.
- Proficiency in electrical design principles and practices, particularly with VFDs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with CAD software and electrical design tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of control systems, SKM, NEC, ETAP, and NEMA standards is advantageous.
