Job Description

Location-Santa Clara

Pay: $27.00 – $30.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Four 10-hour days)

Duration: 6+ months with strong intent to hire direct


Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled technician with hands-on experience in the medical device industry to join our team. This is a precision role working under a microscope, using surgical tools to perform micro-cuts and catheter fusing on life-saving devices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform microscopic assembly using a surgical blade to cut highly precise slots in plastic catheter tips
  • Ensure all cuts meet tight tolerances of ±.001 inch
  • Operate and maintain a clean, controlled workstation
  • Execute catheter fusing and bonding techniques per specifications
  • Follow SOPs, cleanroom protocols, and documentation requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to meet production and compliance standards


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the medical device industry
  • Strong background in microscope work and precision hand tools
  • Proven experience with catheter fusing is required
  • Comfortable working with detailed technical specifications
  • High attention to detail and steady hand coordination
  • Familiarity with cleanroom or ISO-certified environments is a plus
