Civil Superintendent
Location: Cincinnati or Cleveland
Salary: $90k-$150k
Position Overview
The Civil Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing all civil construction activities on-site. This role involves coordinating with various teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Civil Superintendent will also ensure compliance with safety regulations and contribute to the overall success of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage civil construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct inspections and ensure quality control of work being performed on-site.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
- Manage resources and equipment to optimize productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with concrete, flatwork, structural work, and excavation.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes and bridge construction.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
