<p>Job DescriptionVIP staffing is immediately hiring a Machinist for a leading organization in Belen, NM This is a Full Time Temp to hire position Schedule is Monday - Friday 7am- 3:30 pmPay for this position is $18.75- $23.00 DOE<br>As a Machinist you will:
<ul>
<li>Perform set up of lathes, mills, grinders and other tools for precision machining operations. </li>
<li>Perform standard maintenance on all machining equipment</li>
<li>Work from drawings, sketches, and measurements to transfer information to proper machine set ups. </li>
<li>fabricate parts to specifications</li>
<li>Work with Maintenance team to identify worn machine parts to fabricate new. </li>
<li>Assist maintenance team to troubleshoot machine malfunctions and provide ideas for improvement</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe working environment.</li>
</ul>
<p>Machinist candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
<ul>
<li>Associate degree, or two years of appropriate Trade School, or equivalent experience</li>
<li>Minimum of one year machining experience</li>
<li>Ability to read blueprints/schematics and other drawings</li>
<li>Have a great attention to Detail</li>
<li>Ability to pass Pre-employment screening</li>
