Duties/Responsibilities:
Visually checks components from Cut/Sew and FPR departments for quality.
Wraps, stretches, or pulls fabric over furniture components.
Operates power tools such as staple gun and spray gun to secure fabric to finished products.
Checks product for any imperfections.
Produces the required quantity of completed pieces within quality standards.
Maintains a record of units produced each day.
Inspects equipment prior to starting the workday.
Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Takes direction from assigned Team Leader.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to follow directions and work well in a team and as an individual contributor.
Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
Strong listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-orientation and the ability to multi-task.
Interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective work relationships
Ability to adhere to the company's attendance policy, including regular and punctual
attendance.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least one year of related experience (in upholstery, furniture restoration, or related trade) in a
manufacturing environment.
