Express Employment Professionals is excited to hire for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at a fast paced fabrication company.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical devices and equipment.
Responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineer:
- Assemble and fabricate mechanical components and systems
- Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical failures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product designs
- Provide expertise in robotics and automation systems
- Work on the assembly line to ensure efficient production processes
- Maintain industrial equipment in manufacturing facilities
Skills and qualifications for the Mechanical Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/fabricating environment, preferably in mechanical system design, maintenance, and improvement
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of industrial equipment
- Experience with robotics and automation systems
- Ability to perform root cause analysis on mechanical issues
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (OSHA, ISO, etc.).
- Previous experience working on assembly lines is a plus
