Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression. Production Supervisors are: · Resilient · Detail oriented · Ambitious · Demonstrate high integrity
· Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements
· Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
· Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership ·
· Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams
Skills Required:
Leadership, Production Management, Supervisor
Experience Required:
· 1+ years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience
· Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
· Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
Experience Preferred:
· Safety and quality experience
· Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
· Knowledge of constraint management principles
· Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
Education Required:
· High School Diploma / GED
