NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a leader in the automotive warranty industry! Our client is seeking a VP of Business Develoopment to help drive revenue growth, market expansion, and brand positioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, launch, and scale the company's Direct Channel, including sales strategies, pipelines, pricing models, bid/proposal development, and key account management.
  • Modernize product offerings, streamline dealer and agent agreements, optimize reinsurance structures, and enhance operational processes for compliance, scalability, and profitability.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing nationwide sales team, defining performance metrics, accountability, and compensation structures to drive results.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on corporate strategy, conduct market research and competitive analysis, and lead initiatives to ensure the company remains a market leader.
  • Foster seamless cooperation among sales, marketing, operations, finance, compliance, legal, reinsurance, and customer support teams to align with the company’s growth vision.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 10+ years in sales leadership, preferably in automotive, F&I, insurance, or warranty.
  • Deep understanding of dealer networks, automotive sales, and reinsurance structures (CFC, NCFC, Retro, DOWC).
  • Proven ability to scale sales teams, develop leaders, manage P&L responsibilities, and build successful field operations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with dealers, OEMs, and industry partners.
