Position Overview

The Solder Mask Operator will be responsible for applying, processing, and inspecting solder mask coatings on printed circuit boards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established processes to ensure high-quality products that meet customer and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate solder mask coating and imaging equipment.

  • Apply solder mask materials according to work instructions and process cards.

  • Expose, develop, and cure solder mask layers using proper equipment.

  • Perform visual inspections to identify defects, scratches, or registration issues.

  • Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness in compliance with company and safety standards.

  • Accurately document process steps and production data.

  • Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve production issues.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).

  • Previous experience in PCB manufacturing or solder mask operations a plus.

  • Ability to read and interpret FAB Prints, work instructions, and process documentation.

  • Familiarity with IPC standards is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and steady hand-eye coordination.

  • Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled environment.

  • Basic computer and data entry skills.

  • Willingness to work overtime or flexible shifts as needed.
