The Star/Citizen Swiss Setup and Lead Operator is responsible for all inspection, preventative maintenance, upkeep, and proper usage of the Star/Citizen Swiss machine.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sets up and operates a Star or Citizen Swiss machine as needed

Interchanges cutting tools within the Star or Citizen Swiss machine as needed

Monitors and maintains fluid levels within Star or Citizen Swiss machine as needed

Cleans Star or Citizen Swiss machine before and after use as needed
-
Oversees the cleanliness and safety of Swiss Operators workstations

Ensures Swiss Operators load bar feeder continuously over the course of their shift

Ensures Swiss Operators produces parts to Dimensional Control Plan (DCP)

Performs preventative maintenance and reports higher level machine issues to supervisor as needed

Follows all necessary work instructions and procedures as laid out by company’s QMS (ISO)

Reports quality updates to supervisor daily

Follows all established work instructions and standard operating procedures, including the “setup procedure list”

Follows all internal, OSHA, and outside agency safety regulations
-
Monitors the upcoming parts schedule and anticipates tooling for upcoming job
-
Monitors production of task in/task out times and daily production activity

Assists with supervision and discipline of other Swiss Operators as needed
-
Monitors all setups to ensure compliance and accuracy in relation to the setup procedures

Performs all other duties as assigned
Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
-
CNC Manufacturing: 3 years (Required)
-
CNC Swiss Machining: 3 years (Preferred)
You should be proficient in:
- GD&T
- Troubleshooting Skills
- CNC Machine Repair
- CNC Machine Installation
- Machine Setups for Production Runs
Machines & technologies you'll use:
- CNC Swiss Lathe (Star, Citizen)
