Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing Inc., a minority and women-owned business with over ten years of experience in healthcare staffing, is seeking a Board-Certified Chief Therapeutic Medical Physicist to provide on-site radiation oncology support at the VA Maryland Health Care System. The Chief Therapeutic Medical Physicist will oversee all physics and dosimetry operations, ensure compliance with ACR/ASTRO/AAPM standards, and support a culture of safety and quality for Veterans receiving radiation therapy.

Qualifications:
- Education: Ph.D. in Medical Physics or a related discipline.
- Licensure: Board Certification in Medical Physics or Therapeutic Medical Physics (ABR) is required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of post-board certification experience.
- At least 3 years of continuous work in the last five years in the field.
- Proven experience leading QA programs and performing acceptance testing and commissioning of linear accelerators.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Varian Edge Linear Accelerators, Eclipse TPS, ARIA R&V, Siemens SOMATOM go.Open Pro CT Simulator and Sun Nuclear/SunCHECK platform.
- Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise all radiation oncology physics and dosimetry operations.
- Provide quarterly Quality Assurance reports to the VA Radiation Safety and Quality Assurance Committees.
- Ensure adherence to national radiation safety standards and manage all QA data and documentation.
- Conduct shielding surveys and maintain radiation safety compliance per NHPP requirements.
- Participate in peer review conferences and multidisciplinary quality initiatives.
- Supervise the development and maintenance of the Quality Management Program (QMP).
