Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Vernon, CA
Pay Rate: $35–$40 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, some weekends as needed; flexible hours required

About the Company:
We are a leading plastic container manufacturing company specializing in high-quality Tupperware-style products and a wide range of plastic storage solutions. We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team and help keep our production operations running efficiently and safely.
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, machinery, molds, conveyors, and facility systems. This role requires hands-on mechanical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
- Inspect, adjust, and replace defective parts, components, and systems
- Maintain and repair injection molding machines, extruders, conveyors, and related equipment
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Assist in equipment installations, setups, and modifications
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and support production teams to minimize downtime
- Follow safety procedures and support a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment (plastic industry experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with injection molding or plastic manufacturing equipment is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documents
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends as needed
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a fast-paced production setting
