Job DescriptionExciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: School Occupational Therapist in the La Grange, IL.

We're currently seeking dedicated School Occupational Therapist ($48-58/hour) to support students in both general education and special education classrooms in the La Grange, IL for the upcoming school year.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • IL OT license
  • Mentorship available, previous experience working with kids in a school setting is preferred; fieldwork counts

Role Overview:
As an OT, you will support students in school settings by assessing their needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing interventions to help them succeed academically, socially, and physically. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:  

  • Schedule:  full time
  • Dates:  2025-26 school year based on school calendar
  • Hours:   based on school calendar

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
  • Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
