Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Will be in charge of quality assurance throughout the construction of the project, as per technical specifications and design drawings.
  • Revision and development of standard SOPs.
  • Standardized management and project control tools.
  • Protocols and tools for supporting client's Project Management tasks.
  • Establish inspection protocols for incoming materials, equipment, and installation processes.
  • Document lessons learned and integrate them into future project planning.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on quality performance and compliance status.
  • Monitor and audit construction, commissioning, and operational activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project management teams to integrate quality standards into all phases of BESS projects.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in BEES projects.
  • Must have experience in Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS) projects, including technical understanding of battery systems, integration with grid infrastructure, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control for design projects.
  • Experience with large-scale energy projects.
  • Proven leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills and use of Microsoft Office and MS Project, and good attitude to learn new software if necessary.
  • Proven track record managing multi-phase, high-value projects in the energy sector, with emphasis on innovation and sector transformation.
  • Knowledgeable in project controls (cost and scheduling) for transportation projects, specifically for pre-construction efforts.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Unifier, QuickBase, and other accounting software.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local energy regulations and standards.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to balance competing interests and drive consensus in complex project environments.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
