We are currently partnered with an independent systems integrator focused on automation, process control, manufacturing intelligence, cybersecurity, and industrial networking. From concept to commissioning, they deliver smart, scalable solutions that keep modern facilities running efficiently, securely, and intelligently.


About the Role


You’ll lead a team of 7–15 engineers delivering innovative automation, process control, and building management solutions across manufacturing, life sciences, and critical infrastructure sectors.


In this role, you’ll take a hands-on approach to system design, architecture, and implementation, while mentoring engineers and partnering closely with project management to ensure every project exceeds expectations, on time and on budget.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead, mentor, and develop a talented team of automation engineers.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to build accurate schedules, budgets, and risk plans.
  • Work directly with customers to define technical requirements and deliver tailored automation solutions.
  • Oversee design, programming, testing, and commissioning activities across multiple projects.
  • Review and develop documentation for factory and site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT) aligned with GAMP and regulatory standards.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts by showcasing technical capabilities and project success stories.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and partners to ensure long-term collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of internal tools and accelerators for DeltaV platforms.


What You’ll Bring


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong background in DCS and PLC/SCADA-based process or building automation systems.
  • 2–7 years of experience leading automation teams or managing multi-project delivery.
  • Hands-on experience commissioning and deploying systems in production environments.
  • Industry expertise in life sciences, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.


Technical Expertise:


  • DCS: DeltaV (required).
  • PLCs: Allen-Bradley Logix; Schneider, GE, Siemens (preferred).
  • SCADA: FactoryTalk ViewSE, Ignition, Aveva System Platform, GE iFIX.
  • Historians: OSI PI, FactoryTalk Historian, or similar.
  • Programming: SQL, Python.
