Location: Las Vegas, NV (Hybrid: work from home Mondays & Fridays)
Schedule: 37.5-hour workweek
Compensation: Base salary + commission

The American Gem Society (AGS) is seeking a passionate, people-first professional to join our Membership team as a Community Ambassador Coordinator. What You’ll Do

As a Community Ambassador Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact to current and prospective members—strengthening relationships, driving membership growth, and creating exceptional experiences. You’ll connect with members, understand their needs, and help them thrive through AGS programs and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for current and prospective members and consumers.
  • Respond to telephone and email inquiries from current and prospective members.
  • Execute data entry, data auditing, and report generation utilizing the Association Management System (AMS) and Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Manage tasks and deadlines within the project management system (Basecamp).
  • Carry out department administrative tasks, including supply and collateral ordering, and processing mailings.
  • Stay informed on association activities, policies, and services to respond to inquiries accurately.
  • Work closely with the Community Ambassador on projects and initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to achieving goals while nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Passion for people, community, and the jewelry industry.
  • An Associate’s degree in a business-related field is preferred. Relevant experience that provides the knowledge and skills outlined above may substitute for a degree.
  • Administrative and project management skills; data entry experience is a plus.
  • Computer and technical skills (including software knowledge); Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); database experience a plus.
  • Personable and diplomatic customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A positive team-player attitude.
