Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner
Pay: $65-$70 an hr | Bi-weekly
Job Type:
- Onsite in Grafton OH 44044
Shift Options:
- The schedule is weekdays only (no evenings, weekends, or holidays), and shift start/end times have some flexibility based on the facility's needs. The assignment is projected to last 4 months but may be extended based on continued need and mutual agreement.
Family Nurse Practitioner Overview:
- Clinical Care & Patient Management
- Perform comprehensive health assessments including physical exams and review of medical histories. ihireadvancedpractitioners.com
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, minor injuries, and communicable diseases within scope of practice. Zippia
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging) as needed. Zippia
- Prescribe appropriate medications and manage medication administration according to facility protocols. Zippia

Correctional Healthcare Coordination
- Maintain continuity of care from intake through discharge or transfer, including coordination with outside providers and facilities. Zippia
- Document all clinical encounters accurately in electronic medical records and ensure legal compliance. Zippia
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, mental health providers, and correctional officers to ensure patient and facility safety. Zippia
Facility & Safety
- Adhere to facility security protocols while delivering care in a safe and structured environment. Zippia
- Respond to medical emergencies within the facility and provide first aid or stabilization as required. Zippia

Administrative & Compliance Duties

- May supervise or provide clinical oversight to other healthcare staff as needed.
Family Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:
- The following credentialing documents must be submitted: a comprehensive resume with education (with location and year of graduation), training, complete work history, an Ohio license, healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification, and board certification.
- A Drug Enforcement Administration certification should also be submitted as required for the assignment.
