Job DescriptionAerotek is currently hiring for a Manual Machinist in Rosedale! Qualified candidates should be able to do the following:Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to perform a wide range of machine shop operations, including lathe work, drilling, grinding, milling, shaping, and hand tool work.
- The role involves repairing and overhauling factory equipment, designing and building manufacturing systems and equipment, and contributing to the development of new tooling and production machines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all machine shop operations such as lathe work, drilling, grinding, milling, shaping, and hand tool work.
- Repair and overhaul factory equipment.
- Design and build manufacturing systems and equipment as needed.
- Set up procedures to conform finished tooling to desired specifications.
- Develop specifications from general descriptions and draw sketches of parts or products.
- Assist the Production Manager in the development of new tooling, new systems, and new production machines.
- Assist in designing dies and line tooling for new and existing products.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Experience operating drill presses and lathes.
- Mechanical aptitude and expertise in manual machining.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $41.00/hr.
