Job Title: Tool and Die Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will alter, maintain, and repair production fixtures, tools, and dies using advanced machining tools and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Alter and maintain production fixtures, tools, and dies.
- Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, surface and cylindrical grinders.
- Weld and refinish precision surfaces.
- Machine complicated tooling parts to precise dimensions within specified tolerances.
- Repair molds and fixtures by welding and refinishing precision surfaces.
- Troubleshoot die and initiate corrective actions.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in operating all machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Ability to machine complicated tooling parts to precise dimensions within specified tolerances.
- Capability to repair fixtures by welding and refinishing precision surfaces.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with blueprint reading.
- Manual dexterity and precision in tooling and machining tasks.
Work Environment
The position requires working 2nd or 3rd shifts, with hours from 3:00pm to 11:30pm or 11:00pm to 7:30am. The role involves using machinists' hand tools and advanced machine equipment in a factory setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hendersonville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.75 - $30.50/hr.
