Position: RN-MedSurg (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-MedSurg for a 13-week contract in Evansville, Indiana — earn up to ($2037 - $2144 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg setting, ensuring safety and comfort.

• Achieve departmental targets and contribute to overall team success.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.

• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

• Engage in performance evaluations and set personal growth goals.

• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols in the workplace.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

• Utilize electronic health records to maintain accurate patient information.

• Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in Indiana with MedSurg certification preferred.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a MedSurg nursing role.

• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and families.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

• Proficient in using electronic health records for patient documentation.

• Ability to monitor and document patient progress effectively.

• Experience with quality improvement initiatives in patient care.

• Willingness to assist in the orientation of new nursing staff.
