Position: RN-MedSurg (Travel/Contract)
We're hiring experienced RN-MedSurg for a 13-week contract in Evansville, Indiana — earn up to ($2037 - $2144 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg setting, ensuring safety and comfort.

Achieve departmental targets and contribute to overall team success.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.

Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Engage in performance evaluations and set personal growth goals.

Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols in the workplace.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Utilize electronic health records to maintain accurate patient information.

Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
Experience/Qualifications

Current RN license in Indiana with MedSurg certification preferred.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Minimum of 2 years experience in a MedSurg nursing role.

Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.

Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and families.

Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Proficient in using electronic health records for patient documentation.
