Position Overview:
As a Senior Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics of HVAC/R systems in commercial settings. You will also play a role in helping develop other technicians by providing hands-on training, mentorship, and guidance. Your expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex HVAC/R issues will ensure the efficient operation and optimal performance of our clients' HVAC/R systems.

Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot issues with HVAC/R systems.
- Utilize diagnostic tools, meters, and gauges to analyze system performance and identify root causes of problems.
- Develop effective solutions to resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
- Communicate findings and recommended solutions to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Completes necessary paperwork with company issued laptop/tablet.
- Foster positive relationships with clients by delivering excellent customer service and demonstrating a high level of professionalism.
- Participates in an on-call rotation.
- Provide on-the-job training and technical support to junior technicians and apprentices, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
- Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training in HVAC/R is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 Years experience as a Commercial Service Technician, with a focus on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC/R systems.
- Universal EPA certification.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Solid understanding of electrical circuits and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, gauges, and other equipment to assess system performance and diagnose issues.
- Manufacturer certifications are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
