Building Maintenance Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)
-
Perform maintenance duties within the specified trade skill in hotel facilities
-
The Maintenance Tech II will specialize in one of the following areas: Vehicle Mechanic, Painter Kitchen Mechanic Locksmith , Carpenter, Carpet Layer, Tile Setting, plumbing, Electrician HVAC pipefitter or Welder
-
Service and maintain fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.

Repair and maintain plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains
-
Responsible for dry-wall repair, and repairing surfaces for painting
-
Job tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to standards
-
Follow preventative maintenance schedules and equipment and rooms in assigned areas and document work performed ion database using a computer
-
Respond to guests calls concerning maintenance issues in rooms, and other areas of the property
-
Respond to calls from team members concerning maintenance issues in offices, shops kitchen and laundry at hotel

Perform repair and maintenance to equipment
-
Maintain good housekeeping practices in shops an work areas

Job tasks must be finished in a timely manner

Building Maintenance Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)
-
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required.

Must be 21 years of age
-
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

The incumbent for this position will be a licensed Journeyman or apprentice with three to five years experience
-
Able to pass a background check
-
Able to work in the US
-
Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building
