Reporting directly to the CEO, with a dotted line to the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the Clinical Director oversees clinical operations and nursing services. This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care focused on lower extremity health, diabetic foot care, and advanced wound healing protocols. The Clinical Director supervises nursing staff and ensures compliance with state, federal, and specialty-specific regulations. Responsibilities include managing infection control practices, supporting accurate documentation for wound staging and treatment, and optimizing patient outcomes through evidence-based protocols. This position also plays a key role in staff education, patient safety initiatives, and operational efficiency across clinic and mobile care settings.


Essential Functions

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all clinical operations across geographies and specialties.
  • Lead the recruitment, development, and performance management of clinical staff and provider teams.
  • Oversee the implementation of evidence-based clinical protocols, driving consistently and quality of care.
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, technology, and executive leadership to drive alignment and innovation.
  • Serve as a key voice in strategic planning, clinical innovation, and expansion into new service areas.
  • Monitor KPIs and clinical performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive initiatives that improve patient outcomes, provider experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide clinical support and consultation to providers and care teams.
  • Represent clinical leadership during audits, accreditations, and external engagements.
  • Willing and able to see patients as needed


Qualifications

  • Clinical License: DNP or NP credentials in the state of Nevada and/or California.
  • Masters in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years leading clinical operations with multi-site or mobile teams.
  • Valid Driver’s license, reliable transportation and driving to patients home and or clinical facilities.
  • DEA License required.
  • Wound care certification CWS, CWCN, CWOCN required.
  • Experience with EMR charting; Drchrono experience is a plus .
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management.


Competencies

  • Advanced knowledge of wound care, podiatry, and primary care.
  • Proficiency in diabetic foot management, infection control, and limb preservation.
  • Familiarity with CMS, OSHA, HIPAA, and state podiatry regulations.
  • Ability to build trust with patients in skilled nursing, assisted living, and home settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proven ability to lead through growth, scale provider teams, and implement operational systems.
  • Compassionate communication with patients experiencing chronic pain or mobility limitations.
  • Ability to provide education and coaching for clinicians, patients and caregivers on wound care and prevention.
  • Proficient in EMR systems and mobile charting tools.
  • Demonstrates confidentiality, ethical standards, and sound clinical judgement.
  • Available to treat patients 3-5 days per week, no weekends .
  • Flexible with scheduling and travel across assigned service areas.


Compensation

$175,000-$225,000 per year
