We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining HAAS machines (ST30 / VFO) to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. The ideal candidate must be able to interpret technical drawings, ensure quality standards, and perform routine machine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, HAAS) following work orders and blueprints.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure parts meet precise specifications.
- Perform quality inspections using measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machining operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company and OSHA standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines.
- Document production and quality control reports.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience (setup and operation).
- Strong understanding of CNC programming (G-code, M-code) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
