Mechanical Engineer – MEP Design (Indianapolis, IN)

A leading MEP engineering firm in Indianapolis is seeking talented Mechanical Engineers to join their team. Position Overview
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will support the design and development of HVAC, mechanical, and process systems for a variety of advanced facilities. You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and end-users to produce high-quality, fully coordinated MEP designs.
Key Responsibilities
• HVAC system design, load calculations, and equipment selection
• Preparing drawings, specifications, and coordinated plan sets in Revit/AutoCAD
• Ventilation, hydronic, and energy system analysis and code compliance
• Participating in project coordination and client meetings
• Supporting site surveys, field verification, and construction-phase tasks (RFIs, submittals, etc.)
• Ensuring designs comply with IMC, IECC, and industry standards
Qualifications
• BSME or related engineering degree
• Mechanical/HVAC design experience in an MEP or consulting environment
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD (Revit strongly preferred)
• Understanding of HVAC fundamentals, codes, and building systems
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills
• EIT/PE preferred but not required
