Are you an experienced field leader in wet utilities looking to grow with a fast-paced, high-performing contractor in the Phoenix area? This is an opportunity to step into a pivotal field leadership role for a rapidly growing construction firm with over 70 active projects across Arizona and a collaborative culture that values expertise, accountability, and mentorship.

We are seeking a Wet Utilities Superintendent to oversee multiple crews on large-scale trenching and pipe installation projects. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge, proven leadership in the field, and a commitment to safety and quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Leadership: Supervise 16+ crews across pipe and grading operations; ensure alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Project Execution: Coordinate with Project Managers, Inspectors, and Subcontractors to meet milestones and resolve field challenges.
  • Safety First: Conduct daily tailgate meetings and enforce trench safety protocols and jobsite compliance.
  • Material & Equipment Oversight: Manage delivery schedules and onsite equipment readiness.
  • Daily Reporting: Document progress, issues, and updates for internal tracking and leadership review.
  • Site Inspections: Perform regular walkthroughs and inspections to ensure specification compliance and construction excellence.


Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in wet utility installation (sewer, water, storm systems)
  • 2+ years in a Foreman or Superintendent-level leadership role
  • Advanced understanding of trench safety, utility installation methods, and crew coordination
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills


Nice to Have:

  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Experience managing large-scale municipal or residential wet utility projects
