Job Summary:
Bay-CSS is seeking a compassionate DSP (Direct Support Professional) to join our Residential Program team in Leonardtown, MD on a part-time basis (25 hours per week). The DSP will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. This role requires a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance, the ability to lift at least 50lbs, and the capacity to pass a background check.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor

Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and housekeeping
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with community outings and recreational activities
- Document and maintain records of residents' progress and behavior
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive living environment

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4pm to 9pm
Compensation: $21 per hour with a $2 weekend shift differential
