CNC Machinist
$25- $35/hr | Terre haute, IN
Responsibilities
- Load and operate Lathe, Mill, and/or EDM machines.
- Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer specifications.
- Perform minor edits to CNC programs and replace tooling as needed.
- Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, and comparators.
- Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in CNC machining or CNC operating.
- Proficiency in operating Lathe, Mill, and Machining equipment.
- Ability to interpret blueprints accurately.
- Strong understanding of standard CNC controllers such as FANUC.
- Ability to perform tool changes and operate precision measurement tools.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability and attention to detail.
- Capability to perform basic production shop mathematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of G&M codes is a plus.
- Experience with Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, and Mill operation.
- Understanding of machining principles and various machining technologies.
- Experience in a production environment and machine shop.

Work Environment
- Work in a clean machine shop with opportunities for night shift positions.
- Night shift lathe operators work Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 1am with a 20% shift differential.
- The weekend shift operates from Friday to Sunday, working 36 hours with a 4-hour bonus, totaling 40 hours, and includes a 35% shift differential.

This is a Permanent position based out of Terre Haute, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
