Job Description⚙️ Server Test Technician – Fremont, CA
Shifts Available:
- 🌞 Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM ($22.50/hr)
- 🌙 Swing Shift: 3:45 PM – 12:15 AM ($24/hr)
- 📅 First Week Orientation: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🔧 About the Role
As a Server Test Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced server systems used by the world’s largest cloud, social media, and enterprise companies. You’ll set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot both simple and complex assemblies, applying your technical expertise in hardware, software, and electronics. This is a hands‑on role where your skills in Python, C++, and Linux will be highly valued.
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Set up and perform testing of assemblies and final systems
- Troubleshoot assemblies and systems to ensure functionality and reliability
- Follow detailed Test Process Instructions (TPI)
- Determine test specifications, methods, and procedures from Statements of Work (SOW)
- Perform rework on assemblies and systems when needed
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions
- Support additional tasks such as unpacking, packaging, labeling, and crating
🛠 Essential Skills
- Proficiency in hardware testing and software installation
- Experience with server testing and command line operations
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software
- Knowledge of electronics, Linux, C++, and preferably Python
- Solid computer skills, including software downloads and installations
✅ Additional Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with office applications (Word, Excel, databases)
- Experience troubleshooting or networking computer components
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods
- Comfortable working on ladders or stools

This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $24.00/hr.
