Job DescriptionPosition: CNC Machinist
Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience producing high-quality precision parts. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, follow machining instructions, and maintain accuracy and efficiency throughout the production process.
Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and machining instructions
• Load raw material and ensure proper tooling setup
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments for quality output
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools
• Maintain tight tolerances and meet production deadlines
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean
• Follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and quality procedures
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to resolve machining issues
Qualifications:
• Previous CNC machining experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and precision measurements
• Knowledge of CNC controls, tools, and machining processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Able to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks as needed
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
Schedule:
• Monday–Thursday, 5:00am – 3:00pm
• Overtime on Fridays as needed
Pay: $18+ per hour, depending on experience
