Production Workers: 2nd shift
Training on 1st Shift
Job Summary
Production worker must be able to get daily work assignments from control room operator or plant manager, load and unload all inbound and outbound material (trucks and railcars), switch railcars, transfer product throughout the plant via a conveyor or front-end loader and daily sanitation of work area and plant grounds.
Essential Duties

Load and unload trucks and railcars.

Inspect incoming material to verify the condition and quality of the product received matches what is stated on the receiving documents

Collect sample on inbound and outbound loads and take to lab.

Inspect trailers and railcars before loading

Check magnets and empty wheelbarrows
-
Seal trailers and railcars after loading.

Switching railcars
-
Help move or rotate product in flat storage using catloader if have been trained to operate.

Assist in transfer of product using portable conveyor.

Daily sanitation of work area and plant grounds
-
Comply with all company policies and comply with all Federal, state and local laws.

Report any quality or feed safety problems to a member of Plant Quality Assurance Team
Additional Duties
-
Operate a forklift or other machinery used in the warehouse

Perform other duties as assigned

Ability to lift 60 pounds and climb ladders
