We are seeking an experienced CNC professional who can contribute both at the programming level and directly on the shop floor. This individual will be responsible for creating accurate, efficient programs for both mills and lathes, ensuring optimal machining performance and part quality. Strong proficiency in Mastercam is essential, as all current programming is done within this platform. The ideal candidate will be comfortable collaborating with machinists, engineering, and production teams to ensure programs meet all technical requirements and run smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
In addition to programming responsibilities, this role requires hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across various machines and production processes. The shop still operates several older Mazak machines utilizing Mazatrol programming, so experience with Mazatrol is considered a major plus. The right candidate will be someone who can step onto the floor, diagnose issues, adjust programs or tooling as needed, and support continuous improvement initiatives to keep operations running efficiently and safely.
