We are a PRACTICE CASINO (First of it's kind in Texas) looking for energetic, customer-focused Casino Dealers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of popular casino table games and enjoys creating a fun, welcoming environment for guests. In this role, you will run games professionally, assist players, and help ensure an exciting and memorable experience for everyone at the table.
Responsibilities
- Conduct casino table games such as blackjack, baccarat, roulette, craps or other popular games with precision and confidence.
- Manage guest interactions with friendliness and professionalism, ensuring a positive gaming experience for all players.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including chip exchanges, payouts, and buy-ins while maintaining strict security protocols.
- Enforce casino rules and policies consistently to ensure fair play and prevent disputes or conflicts at the tables.
- Monitor game activity for signs of cheating or misconduct using conflict management skills to address issues promptly and effectively.
- Communicate game rules clearly to guests of all skill levels to enhance their understanding and enjoyment of the games.
- Maintain a clean, organized gaming area by adhering to health and safety standards throughout your shift.
- Assist with guest services by answering questions, providing directions within the casino, and creating a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and special events.
- Keep detailed records of game outcomes, cash handling activities, and incident reports as required for compliance purposes.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a dealer in a casino environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates eager to learn new skills.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle disputes or unruly guests professionally while maintaining a lively atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for quick calculations involving chips, payouts, and odds with accuracy.
- Excellent customer service abilities to engage guests positively and enhance their overall experience.
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain game rules and interact confidently with diverse audiences.
- Experience in cash handling to manage chips and monetary transactions securely and accurately.
