Location: Huntsville, AL
Schedule: 4/10 Workweek (Monday–Thursday)
DirectPath Recruiting Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a leading electronics manufacturer. This position is hands-on and technical, involving both design and testing of electrical systems, microcircuits, and multichip modules in a cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities

Design, evaluate, and improve electrical systems and components.

Troubleshoot performance issues and recommend design solutions.

Analyze schematics, voltage/current levels, and controlled impedances.

Conduct vibration, strain gauge, and shock testing of circuit boards.

Support microcircuit and multichip module manufacturing using wire bonding and related tools.

Create detailed test reports and documentation for internal and customer use.

Review and cross-reference bill of materials for electrical components.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (required).

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an electrical or electronics environment.

Experience with MATLAB, schematic design tools, and Microsoft Visual Studio.

Knowledge of RF design, programmable devices, and electronic test equipment.

Familiarity with microcircuit design and cleanroom manufacturing.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass background and drug screening.
Preferred Experience
-
Strain gauge testing and vibration/shock testing on circuit boards.

Programming microcontrollers and optimizing system performance.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
