Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Environmental Field data collection; complete actual field work as needed.
  • Project documentation and technical report writing
  • Project research and development
  • Prepare Hydrogeologic Reports
  • Prepare project cost estimates
  • Work with the integrated team of experts in the Knoxville Office
  • Develop Project Scopes
  • This Environmental Geologist shall have extensive client, regulatory agency, consultant and contractor interaction, along with the enthusiasm necessary to develop clients and grow our expanding client base.


Qualification and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or closely related environmental field.
  • Professional Geologist must have a minimum of five (5) years of environmental consulting industry work experience.
  • Registered in Tennessee with the ability to register in multiple states, including AR, MS, AL among others.
  • Must have prior soil, soil gas, and groundwater environmental investigation project experience.
  • Must have strong proven technical report writing skills.
  • Must have experience overseeing environmental project consultants and subcontractors.
  • Direct experience in remedial projects such as soil removal actions, groundwater, and vapor intrusion mitigations.
  • Other skills including proposal development, presentations, and client development are required.
  • Knowledge of work in TN UST and Drycleaner Programs.
  • Current 40 hour HAZWOPER is required.
