Why this role?
You’ll orchestrate the maintenance plan for a high-automation lens lab—owning the CMMS (Megamation), staging parts, sequencing work, and keeping equipment performance high while staying aligned with production.
What will I be doing?
- Building job plans: author work instructions, define safety precautions, and prepare materials/kits.
- Using the CMMS to prioritize and schedule planned, preventive, predictive, and project work.
- Creating and updating PM tasks within Megamation to improve reliability.
- Estimating labor and skill needs for planned and PM work orders.
- Coordinating internal/external resources, including contractor PMs and weekend/downtime work.
- Running weekly cross-functional meetings with Operations, Technical, and Maintenance teams.
- Procuring parts and services; submitting purchase requests for repairs, replacements, and contracts.
- Tackling special projects and stepping in where needed to support uptime targets.
What experience should I have?
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in automated, lean, or continuous-flow manufacturing.
- Hands-on CMMS expertise and comfort driving data integrity and workflow adoption.
- Ability to read/interpret schematics and make sound independent decisions.
- Strong organization, proactive problem-solving, and leadership in resolving equipment issues.
- Clear communicator who thrives with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
- Capable of sitting/standing/walking combinations for up to 10 hours.
Bonus points
- Experience with Megamation/Megamations CMMS planning and inventory modules.
