Job Description Your Mission
Own the manufacturing readiness of new and existing products by blending hands-on process optimization with rigorous project leadership across Operations and NPI.
Outcomes You Will Drive
- Data-driven improvement: mine statistical and financial data to cut cost, compress lead time, boost quality, and eliminate scrap.
- Flow optimization: apply Lean and Theory of Constraints to elevate cells, lines, and workgroups to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Supplier-enabled innovation: partner with suppliers to pilot new concepts, tooling, and equipment—owning the project plan, schedule, and budget.
- Method excellence: establish and refine methods, designs, and documentation to enhance efficiency, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
Capabilities and Experience
- Expert problem solver with strong root cause analysis skills.
- Program ownership across broad scopes; skilled at prioritization and on-time delivery.
- Cross-functional collaborator with excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
- Leader of Lean or TOC improvement initiatives.
- Preferred: experience within ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or medical device manufacturing.
- Fluent with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD for modeling and drafting.
- Working knowledge of drafting standards and GD&T.
- Nice to have: familiarity with CAM platforms such as Mastercam, Esprit, or PartMaker.
