- Split Shift: Monday-Thursday, 2:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (Overtime every other Friday)
Job Description:
Snelling is seeking a skilled Powder Coat Painter for an immediate opening in Louisville, KY. This exciting position involves applying powder coat paint to parts and components, maintaining the paint booth, and preparing products for the painting process. If you're a dedicated individual with a proactive, problem-solving attitude, this is the perfect opportunity for you to take on a temp-to-hire role with advancement potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply powder coat paint to products using an electrostatic spray gun.
- Maintain and clean powder coating equipment, including the booth, floor, and tools.
- Remove media from components after the shot blast process.
- Hang and remove parts on the paint line.
- Perform pre-assembly tasks on products before unloading and removal.
- Ensure products meet quality standards before final removal from the paint area.
Powder Coat Painter Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 45 lbs. consistently.
- Flexibility: Ability to work overtime as needed.
