Job Description

As an Electro Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining advanced automation systems. This position requires hands-on expertise in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical components. You will work closely with engineering, quality control, and production teams to ensure our systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly & Integration: Build mechanical and electrical components into complete systems following detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform functional tests, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct visual inspections and verify compliance with quality standards throughout the assembly process.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, test results, and process improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineering and quality teams to streamline assembly processes and resolve technical challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Safety & Organization: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Essential Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (technical degree or certification preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and compliance standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Preferred: Experience with robotic systems and automation technologies.
  • A technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
