Girls Competitive Team Gymnastics Coach

Job DescriptionLone Mountain Gymnastics is currently seeking a highly qualified Girls Team Gymnastics Coach to join our girls Developmental competitive team coaching staff. This position has the potential to work with Levels 2-10 (and some Xcel athletes). The desired candidate must have 3+ years gymnastics coaching experience in a competitive team program, have a knowledge of USA Gymnastics Rules & Policies, capability and experience in spotting skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven high levels of customer service and professionalism. Lone Mountain takes great pride in our professional and highly qualified competitive coaching staff; the ideal candidate must love leading, working with children, have passion and drive for the sport and be eager to work as a team with other coaches.
This is a part-time role but can be considered for full-time based on applicants qualifications in other coaching arenas. Compensation is $20-$25/hour based on experience. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance and company match to IRA.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of skill progression
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• First aid and CPR certification along with all pertinent USA Gymnastics Coaching certifications are required for this role
• 3+ years Previous experience coaching in competitive gymnastics program; Level 6-10 experience preferred
• Ability to work well with children and teens. This requires strong, positive, professional and kind leadership.
• Relevant coaching certifications or a degree in sports science, physical education, or a related field is beneficial
• Must be willing to travel during competition season (January - March)
• Must be physically able to move easily and quickly over uneven surfaces and lift at least 40 pounds.
