We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Production Operator to join our team in an automotive manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of production tasks including assembling components, operating machinery, and ensuring product quality to support the efficient and safe production of automotive parts or vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing equipment and tools to assemble automotive parts
- Perform quality inspections on components and finished products
- Follow standardized work instructions and production schedules
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S principles
- Identify and report defective materials or unsafe working conditions
- Collaborate with team members and shift leaders to meet production goals
- Package and label finished products according to specifications
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in manufacturing or automotive production preferred
- Basic understanding of mechanical and technical processes
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed
Work Environment:
- Factory or industrial setting
- Exposure to machinery noise, oils, and moving mechanical parts
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
Shift:
- 4:00pm-2:30am Monday through Friday (weekends as needed)
