Join a manufacturer in Brea, CA that’s been trusted since 1937 to deliver precision engines for industrial, agricultural, and military customers. We’re a 35-person team with 13 CNC machines (and plans to add more), known for in-house design, hands-on collaboration, and unwavering craftsmanship.
Your impact
In this high-mix, low-volume environment, you’ll own short runs—typically 1–5 parts—on a live-tool lathe and a 3‑axis mill. You’ll bring tight-tolerance work to life, from initial setup through first-article inspection, keeping quality and throughput in balance.
Key responsibilities
- Set up CNC lathes (live tooling) and 3‑axis VMCs for short-run production
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Read and apply G-code at the machine
- Perform first article inspections to verify specs before release
- Support general shop needs as required
What you’ll need
- 3+ years setting up and operating live-tool lathes and/or 3‑axis mills; familiarity with 5‑axis milling is a plus
- Strong G-code knowledge
- Competence with GD&T and setting up machines for production runs

- CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC)
- CNC Lathe (2–4 axis)
When you’ll work
- Standard hours: starting at 2:30 PM
