Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
\n• Weekend schedule (Friday through Sunday)
\n• No call requirements
\n• Occasional holiday work required - must work one holiday per 13-week contract
\n• 2 years of experience required
\n• Must have circulating and scrubbing experience
\n• Must be able to scrub total joints, craniotomies/neuro, and ortho trauma procedures
\n• Orthopedic and neurosurgical experience required
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Work with patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• 1:1 patient ratios maintained
\n• Work with specialized equipment including ROSA, Si and Xi daVinci robots, stealth, O-Arm, and HIPEC
\n• 8-hour orientation provided
\n• Active Virginia State or Compact RN license required
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• Must work rotating weekend shifts
\n• One pre-approved time off request allowed

This 703-bed acute care teaching hospital serves as a flagship medical facility and is the region's only Level I Trauma Center for both adult and pediatric patients. The facility is Magnet-designated for nursing excellence and operates 25 OR suites with 24/7 on-site nursing coverage. The hospital provides comprehensive surgical services including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, oncology, robotic surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and sports medicine. The facility is certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center and features a dedicated children's hospital with advanced specialty care services.
