Are you ready to make an impact? As an Industrial Systems Engineer, you'll serve as the pivotal connection between the Engineering and Operations departments, offering essential insights and robust solutions while ensuring the production processes remain fluid.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster ongoing dialogue between the Engineering unit and Operations arm.
  • Deliver technical assistance and comprehensive data to empower operations.
  • Innovate and place equipment while drafting detailed process layouts.
  • Leverage CAD, especially AutoCAD, to shape and adjust blueprints.
  • Interpret intricate blueprints to ensure flawless production setups.
  • Synchronize with cross-departmental teams to elevate manufacturing methods.
  • Address mechanical and electrical production issues with swiftness.
  • Oversee machine setup for flawless production functionality.
  • Apply GD&T practices to uphold product integrity and standards.
  • Undertake PLC troubleshooting for proactive issue resolution.
  • Advance PPAP processes to implement new methodologies.
  • Contribute insights and feedback to drive product design enhancements.
  • Plan and calculate production and material costs comprehensively.
  • Document and communicate procedures for institutional knowledge.
  • Identify training gaps and notify relevant management promptly.
  • Champion continuous tweaks and improvements to manufacturing processes.
  • Adapt to any additional roles as assigned.
  • Commit to LEAP/5S methodologies and uphold HSE standards.

SOFTWARE & TECHNOLOGY TOOLS

  • Strength in Plant ERP systems like Plex is preferred.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD’s 2D and 3D capabilities.
  • Minitab expertise for statistical quality control.

EXPERTISE & SKILL SET

Demonstrated skills in CNC machining, cold heading, blueprint literacy, and CAD expertise are expected. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles is crucial, coupled with ISO/IATF experience.

COMMUNICATION PROFICIENCY

Decoding and interpreting complex technical documentation is vital. Ability to engage effectively with customers, regulatory agents, and the wider corporate community is essential.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent; 2-5 years CNC experience, or 8+ years without formal degree.
  • Proficient in deploying CNC configurations and creating quality-proven programs.
  • Experience with business operations, quoting, customer relations, and planning strategies.
  • Proven track record in negotiation, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Thorough PC skills within a Windows-based environment.
